Product Information

DAMTEC Resilient is the new and latest addition to our acoustic underlay family which is also engineered and DT Resilient pic produced in our LEED and US Green building approved manufacturing plant in Germany.
It’s primary and specific application is designed around being installed under vinyl sheet and similar applications where it is critical that the underlay installed not only provides very high levels of Impact Sound attenuation but in addition, from a practical and warranty perspective also ensures that the underlay does not interfere with the surface of the floor finish over time via potential plasticiser or migration issues which can arise from acoustic underlays that have a recycled tyre rubber content in their composition and make-up.

DAMTEC Resilient comprises of the highest quality, recycled PU foam and natural cork bonded with premium grade PU Elastomer bonding agents to ensure structural stability and consistency throughout the product. It is also a 100% inert underlay. DAMTEC Resilient has been tested to and complies with Part F5 of the BCA and the NCC to be installed under not only LVT applications but also sheet vinyl applications. This product can also be installed as a loose lay application.
The DAMTEC® Standard is a superior grade, cork and rubber composite underlay which also has a high density. This product’s composition has been manufactured to a specific mix ratio to provide greater mechanical key for additional adhesion and naturally provides high levels of Impact Sound performance under LVT applications and hence has been tested to and complies with Part F5 of the BCA and the NCC. It also acts as a cost alternative to the DAMTEC Resilient acoustic underlay. This product can also be installed as a loose lay application.
The DAMTEC® rubber is our generic and most cost-effective acoustic underlay which has also been tested to and complies with Part F5 of the BCA and the NCC for Direct Stick LVT flooring. This is a 100% rubber composite underlay which also has a high-density rating. This product can also be installed as a loose lay application.
